Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

Hi, I haven't used my Canon S330 printer for some months, and when I plugged it in just now, it wouldn't print. I replaced both cartridges, and still no printing. The cartridge moves fairly quickly back and forth as if it's printing, then the printer spits out blank paper. I tried removing the cartridges and the print head and carefully cleaning the print head, without any change. Can you suggest something else? Thanks.

In the print head there are hundreds of minute holes from where the ink of the cartridge comes out when you remove the head check whether the ink is coming from the holes in the head .if the ink is not coming the head may be dry and if the very less ink is coming then some of the holes are blocked. the ink has to come out from that holes for printing.

thanks.

Is there any problem of refilling the cartridge of canon MP145 ??

There is no problem, but the Canon cartridge series (30-40-50) is notoriously finicky after refill. A re-used product may not be recognized by the printer. I wouldn't recommend trying the refill yourself as proper cleaning of the print heads is something you can't really do at home.

Hp deskjet F4280 do not print when using a refilled ink cartridge

There are some special steps that you need to do when using refilled cartridges, I do not have that information for you at this moment. I can recommend that you purchase new cartridges instead.

Your printer apparently needs to be cleaned, using your canon software utility. If the cleaning doesn't help, try to replace cartridges

Ink has run out message

Ink not made for your printer has risks. 20 years as Canon rep taught me this. Yields: are affected by resolution, type of paper, condition of print head, condition of ink jets, all ink jets and lasers are mfg'd under lisence to Canon. You have the best! Anytime supplies are cheaper, something is left out. used cartridges usualy leak air and drip ink ck for stains under print head. cartridge has used blotter also drips. Cheaper cartridges contain less ink, no free lunch. Fill it yourself 1 or 2 times and do it right. Put the printer in your shower for twenty minutes if you see excess leaked ink. Allow to air dry for a few days then install new cartridges. Run all the Nozzle checks and print head utilities. Touch nothing else on the inside. This will fix it or f@#%k it up for good

Canon pixma ip3000 won't print

Check usb cable if they are installed firmly and correctly. Check proper voltage input though designed as Autovolt system.
Try plugging the usb cable on another free usb port or you may try another computer to check if your printer works.
See if there are blinking lights and error codes. You can google for its error codes.
Check flex cable continuity, maybe some rodents have eaten it.
Remove ink cartridge, turn the power off and clean cartridge contacts including the holder contacts, turn it on and return cartridges. You may try borrowing a working ink cartridge of the same type from a friend.
