Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Sansa e260 won't turn on

I got a Sansa e260 for christmas and a week later my sansa fell to the ground and since then it won't turn on except when I plug it in the computer but for a few seconds, what should I do?

Sansa e260 volume will not work?


try this...

1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode)
2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version
3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)

You need to use the Sansa Media Converter program to convert videos and photos to a format the Sansa can handle. You may download the SMC here.

The e260 works with microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card and won't work in the Sansa.
With a microSD card, simply put music tracks into a folder called "MUSIC". When the card is installed, the Sansa will see the additional tracks.

My new 8Gb Micro Chip Will not except music


The chip may be locked - consult the documentation for details. Also, that card is too big for the e260 to read - 2GB or less.

My sansa media converter says "Transferring Media files to device failed" in mpt mode


try to uninstall the program, restart the computer . than install it again.

How do i put music on my e260 series


hi go into your windows media player and on the left hand side where it says to build a playlist once you have plugged your mp3 player it will then say sansa just drag the songs from window media library to sansa in left pane then click start sync

did you use sansa media converter if yes probabli the converter doesnot recognise the vide so u need to converted to mpeg first the put it in the sansa media converter. hope it helps.

UMM I NEED HELP DELETING VIDEOS FROM MY MP3 ITS REALLY IMPORTANT I LET MY FRIEND BARROW IT AND HE PUT ADULT THINGS INTO IT AND I DONT WANT THAT!!!
