I am having trouble with my color on my RCA D52W136D. the color green is gone. when i watch football, the turf isnt green, and when i watch baseball and the grass is as brown as the dirt on the infield. what can i do to solve this problem. thanks for your time.
It sounds like your color processor may have gone bad or at least the circuitry connected to it. To solve this problem you will need a schematic, a digital storage oscilloscope, a signal generator, and a multimeter. Now if you don't know what these devices are and do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest that you take the TV set to a qualified TV repair person. I am not trying to put you down or anything its just that this problem requires that you open up the set and using the schematic trace down the signals that control the LCD screen and find out the condition of the signals that display green. Since green is the result of the algebraic addition of red and blue, you may have a problem in the circuitry that controls that function.
I hope this helps,
Thank you,

Thanks for the input. I called a TV Repair Co. and he said it was the tube w/o looking. Of course he wants me to buy a new tube for it b/c its alot more $$ in his pocket. I dont want to pay a $60 for him to come to my house and tell me that. Why wouldnt he suggest the CRT Drive Board or even the Color Processor?

I bought an rca flat screenwi th dvd player from a friend and I was told it did not come with a remote. I use a universal remote but it does not show all menu items. I can not play dvd and then return to tv without taking 2 hours to play with menu button on tv. If there is a remote would you know where I can purchase one. Thank you.
