Hello Senoj59,

You said,
Switches off blinking continuous.

What is the age and model of your fridge?

You can try unplugging it or turning it off at the breaker for 5 minutes.
then restart it and see if it resets the system!
Let me know that it so solved and please give me a rating before you leave our site.
Bless you,

Thank You.

Blinking green light

I get a blinking green light in my freezer when a piece of ice gets stuck instead of dispensing into the ice bucket. First break the stuck ice off then there is a switch beside the green light that you turn off then back on. You should be go to go again until the next time. Mine does it alot and I have a friend with the same refrigator and the same continous "stuck" ice.

Hello Earnharj,

I understand that you are having a problem with your whirlpool side-by-side fridge. If the freezer is starting to defrost I would say that you need to check your cooling system components. I have wrote a tip that will help you check these components. However, make sure to check and make sure that the noise is comming from the compressor. You will also want to check your condensation coils to see if the are dirty, they are located on the bootom of your fridge, you can use a long brush and a vacum to clean them.

Thank you for choosing

Refrigerator not cooling

Look into the back of the freezer and if there is a layer of frost building on the rear panel it's possible that your refrigerator is not defrosting. If yes unplug and remove the frozen goods to the fresh food section. Remove the rear panel and defrost with a hair dryer or by setting a large bucket of hot water in freezer and close the door until the ice is melted. There are a few reasons for this happening and they are defrost heater, defrost thermostat, control board and other things that could cause this because of the way the refrigerator is designed. But the most likely reason is the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. Try defrosting and then letting me know what you find. If you need one one one free assistance I am here for you! Let me know what you find, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Whirlpool side by side fridge freezer s20-d rbb32 a/g

Either there is a loose connection at that board or in the plug where the wiring goes into the door (should be at top or bottom door hinge). If all connections are tight then replace the board. Not sure how old this unit is but it does come with a one yr warranty from date of purchase.
