Check the options on the printer for a contrast or brightness setting. Did you have any problems before?

My brandnew Ricoh is saying Error SC 28212 ~ What does this mean??

Call sawgrass tech support for the reset.... it is straight forward and easy to follow. As per customer support, you will need better than 20% full cartridges, they recommend new ones, which they will provide overnight free if still warranted.(ERR28212) As discussed, here are the reset instructions.
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Open the cartridge door and leave it open until step 15.
3. Turn the printer back on.
[img id="Picture_x0020_1" alt="3110 Panel" src="file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Nancy%20Smith/Local%20Settings/Application%20Data/IM/Runtime/Message/%7B944CD05A-8C76-404B-84B9-E5D3FB8CED31%7D/Show/image0011.jpg" width="500" height="143"> (was a photo of machine front, the down button is also "menu")
4. Hold down both the Up & Down arrows together for 3 to 5 seconds (nothing on the LCD display will indicate the appropriate amount of time has passed)
5. Release the arrow buttons and press #Enter (if nothing happens, try again)
6. When successful the LCD will display SYSTEMver with 3 optional menu selections starting with Service Menu
7. Press the down arrow once to Engine Maint. and press #Enter
8. The LCD will display SP No. with the default 1000000 underneath
9. Using the Up & Down arrows, and pressing #Enter after each number, enter 3009002. Press #Enter when complete.
10. CARRIAGE CHANGE 3009002 will display on the LCD. Press #Enter.
11. CARRIAGE CHANGE EXEC will display on LCD. Press #Enter.
12. OK? will display on the LCD Press #Enter.
13. Then Running will flash on the LCD panel before going back to CARRIAGE CHANGE EXEC. Continue to next step.
14. Exit the SP mode by pressing the Escape button repeatedly until you are back at the Engine Maint. screen. Press the down arrow once to End. Press #Enter one more time to completely exit.
15. Turn the printer off.
16. Replace the four ink cartridges with new ones.
17. After the new cartridges have been installed, close the right front cover.
18. Turn the printer on.
19. Wait for the machine to fill go through an initialization procedure which may take about 7 minutes.
This 100% worked for me.... be certain that the screen displays EXACTLY what the directions tell you!! -NSmith

Xerox 6110 problem:

I have the Samsumg version of this printer CLX-3160. Sounds like the paper takeup roller is not able to grab the paper. What does the LCD display say when this happens? I don't know what software came with your printer, but Samsung provides a PC Smart Panel software that gives a better diagnostic capability. If you have not installed it, install it and see what it says the trouble is? Hope this helps.

Officejet 6110- do display/needs attention light on continuously

try this
turn on/off, unplug, plug in, should reset configs. might have to do this a coupe of times

go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.

hope this helps and good luck

Keep getting Remove and Check Cartridge message even when I replace the black cartridge with a new HP one. How can this be fixed?

I believe you have to press the "select" button or the "options" button. Both are located right under the LCD display

No display only red light

Try unplugging power cord and phone line at back of unit. Let set for 2 minutes to recycle then plug both back in and see if it re-booted.

Lexmark x644e LCD Display Upside Down(Inverted)

Hello there,

I've seen this before. The X64X series with this inverted display seems to work fine (printing,scanning,faxing..) the reason for this is still unknown. But I've got it fixed twice by resetting the NVRAM on this MFP. If you are unsure of how to reset NVRAM, please follow the instructions below:

1.Power off the MFP
2. Hold down the 6, 7 and 8 buttons down and turn the MFP On.
3. Please hold down the buttons till it reads resetting factory defaults and then release the buttons. The MFP should now come back to ready status.

Please check out if this solves the issue, If not the machine would need a hardware service.

Merry Christmas!

HP 6110 scanner fault

There is a sensor on the right that is probably not working or is out of place. turn off printer and open door , move printhead all the way to the left and look at the right side of the printer, is anything loose there? ( the best way to describe it is to look for a piece that is like the symbol pi )
