I have tried the troubleshooter. Still won't print a test page, from internet, C: prompt worperfect/notepad.
I am frustrated and could use some help.
I shut if off, waited and turned it on. Also restarted my comp. I unplugged everything and replugged it in. I can't download manual because I am low on disk space. I have tried every port, so that I don't even know where it shoudl be plugged in any more~
Any info would be appreciated!!!

This is going to take some troubleshooting.
Please try the following, and test after each change. Hopefully we can get this working for you quickly
Verify that when you hit print it under print range that only the last page is selected.
Try printing a different document, this is assuming you've been only having the issue with one document.
Try printing a different type of document, using a different program such as word, notepad, or even a multi-page website.
If any of these has worked for you then it has either narrowed it down to the specific document, or the program, re install the program in question.
If none of the following has helped.
go to start/run type cmd to open the command prompt type following
net stop spooler
net start spooler
this will restart the print spooler service.
If none of the above worked, delete the printer and reinstall. If problem persists install printer on a separate computer to verify that it works correctly.
Good luck, and I hope i was helpful.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with the printer, because you are able to print from the Internet.
Before attempting to print from word, excel etc, make sure you have the correct printer selected (check it through FILE MENU -> PRINT ->PROPERTIES) Do a print test by typing just couple of words -may be in different color- Best of luck luciana44
Try adding a separator page with \ \H1C\H70\H01\H00 \ as the code. Copy and paste the above into notepad save the file in the system32 directory, open your printer's properties from the printers file folder in control panel. go to advanced tab of properties, click on separator page. add the notepad file you created. A separator page is printed at the beginning of every print job. The code came from epson expert.com
I have a HP Deskjet 1300n printer. I can print my email, pictures and
items off the internet, but cannot print any word documents or notepad
documents. When I print an excel document, I get an incomplete page-the
grid lines will print, and text garbage from a adobe program but not all the text. When I do a test print
page, I get an incomplete text page, but do not know how to solve this.
I have removed and reloaded the printer software-no improvement. There
are no new drivers to be installed.
Go to Start | Control Panel | Printers And Other Hardware | Printers And Faxes. Double-click the icon for your printer to open the Documents window and clear any pending print jobs by selecting Cancel All Documents from the Printer drop-down menu
Try printing a test page from the printer, not from Windows XP.
Most printers have a built-in test function that's activated by holding
down one or more buttons while the printer is starting up. Check your
printer's user manual for instructions. If this page prints
successfully, you know the problem is either with your connection or
with the software in your computer.
Check your printer's USB or parallel connection.
Try printing something simple from Windows' Notepad. To open Notepad, go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | Notepad,
type a few lines of text in a document, and try printing it. If it
successfully prints, the problem is with the software program you
originally tried to print from.
Try printing using Windows XP's generic printer driver. Open and
run the Add Printer Wizard. When you get to the Install Printer
Software screen, select Generic under Manufacturer and Generic/Text Only under Printers (see Figure 2).
Select No for Do You Want To Use This Printer As The Default Printer? (see Figure 3). Click Next.
When prompted on the next screen, tell Windows XP to print a test
page. If the page successfully prints, then you probably have a problem
with your installed printer driver. Either update or reinstall the
