LG VENUS: Same here. No more than 2 letters and the phone freezes. Won't let me do a thing. Tried shutting it off and it doesn't work. You have to take the battery out to get the phone working again. This is actually a problem in some new touchscreen phones sometimes do freeze. The best thing to do would be to see if there is a software update available for you phone. If not then you need to contact verizon and check if they would let you exchange your phone, depending on how long you have had it.

So, This Isn't Really And Uncommon Problem With This Phone, Mine Does It Whenever i Put It In My Pocket, The Best Thing To Do For This Is To Take It In To Where It Was Purchased And Report The Problem, Thats What I Did And I Got A New One Free Of Charge Due To Faulty Manufacturing.
My EnV does that too, (on msn messenger). It gets very annoying, but I have not found a solution, I just learn to deal with it :(. I'm not really a big fan of verizon though, as soon as my contract is up I'm GONE!
RETURN IT! GET A BRAND NEW PHONE THE ENV'S ARE A PROBLEM. BELIEVE ME I AM ON MY 3RD ENV THE ORANGE ONE. BUT MINE DID THAT TOO AND THATS WHY I SENT IT BACK AND GOT A 3RD ONE AND THIS IS MESSING UP AND JUST GOT THE PHONE YESTERDAY.

this is awful. i have the same problem
my env 2 will freeze and turn off while texting. can someone help with this problem?
