You are likely in need of new coils to make your dryer heat again. If the ignitor glows, the thermal fuses and thermostats are good. The coils sit directly on top of the gas valve, are easily replaced and inexpensive. CLICK HERE for the coil kit to get your dryer heating again. Using coupon code 1050 will save you some money!
The dryer has electic 'eyes' to keep the burner from coming on if the pilot is not lit or the glow plug fails to come on. Be sure the windows to these 'eyes' are clean and in line with the light source (glow plug or pilot flame) that they are intended to sense.
After you replaced the glow plug, does it come on at the start of the cycle?
most of these dryers have a little plastic plug on the front, left side. pop that plug out and look inside after turning it on. you should see a red glow. if not, then your ignitor has broken. if you see a glow, then the problem is probably one of the two little coils on the gas valve. these coils will sense if there is something to light the gas [the red glow] and open the valve - if the coils are bad, they won't open the valve
Check the glow ignitor and make sure it is glowing, if it is not glowing then replace it, if it is glowing then check the gas valve.. But sounds like the glow ignitor is bad and needs replaced, if it is cracked it wont work either so look really carefully, maye even pull it out.
Check the glow plug.
Take off the bottom front panel, push the start button and look for a red glow. This glow plug is about the size of your little finger and is hard to see when it's off but you will see a red glow if it's working. No glow, replace the glow plug.
If it glows for a few seconds then goes out then the solenoids on the gas valve should be checked with an OHM meter.
time to replace your gas coils. those are the two round things on the gas valve. chances are the dryer ignites when first started but as the dryer heats up the coils fail and as it cools again the coils work again. make sure you replace both coils
