Lost My Pictures Folder on HTC phone memory card and cannot recreate

I have lost the 'My Pictures' folder which was under the 'My Documents' folder on the memory card on my HTC 3600 mobile running Windows Mobile and I am unable to use the New Folder option to recreate one. Now I cannot save photos to the memory card, only to the phone.

How do I recreate this folder and get over the error message which tells me I *** not have the access rights to create the folder within the 'My Documents' folder through using the PC or directly on the phone. The 'My Pictures' folder still works in the phone memory and I have tried copying it to the memory card but that does not work either . Can you help?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: is possible to sync only a specific folder of Outlook?

Yes - you can specify which folders. By default the VersaMail conduit synchronizes the Inbox folder from your Outlook/Exchange account. If you do just as you mentioned creating a MyPalm folder, you will be able to have only that folder synchronize. Open up the Custom menu item from the HotSync icon. From there select the VersaMail conduit and double click it. Select the account from the dialog that appears - if you have multiple VersaMail accounts, the one to choose is your Outlook profile name. Then click on the Advanced button. Choose the rightmost tab which is called Folders. Here you can individually select the folders which do and which do not synch. Turn the Inbox folder to No and turn the MyPalm folder the Yes. That is it.

SOURCE: HTC 710 SMS problem

Its probably your service provider that restricts that service to you. I have had instances where i can't send a message and i found out that i did not have that feature on my service plan. Otherwise you shouldn't have any problem sending and receiving messages. See if that helps.

If you originally set up your phone to use both the internal and external memory card, you have all that information on the memory card. If not, then the information is lost.

LG VX9900, File folder on memory card.

according to a few review sites you can't organise your own folders,

i'm not sure if the LG VX9900 supports images, but you can try to let the VX fill the memory card itself (i mean, format it so it automaticly creates folders)
let's hope there's a picture folder

Missing pictures

If you still have the original files- no problem. If you dont you should try a tool like http://www.piriform.com/recuva Recuva. Before you start backup all other data. Best practice is not to do any activity with the card but recovery until it is solved.
Generally I would create an Album on the Phone and look how it is shon in the folder structure and follow the pattern. Samsung support could also help I suppose.

Where do the bluetooth pictures go once they have been saved, and how do i transfer from the phone memory to the mass memory

Firstly, the pictures taken by the camera of the phone are where you specified in the settings whether to save them on the phone or memory card. In both cases they go to the images folders on the phone or the memory card. When you send them to the PC through BT then they by default go to My Documents->Bluetooth->Inbox unless you have specified some other folder for them.
Transferring them to the memory card involves selecting the pictures in Gallery->images and then from Options selecting Move or Copy to and then specifying the folder on the memory card.
All these are given in the User Guide os the phone.

Memory card problem

Sometimes flash memory can be exhausted, so to speak, and will stop functioning. This is all you can do to get your pictures back. After that try running a format and then the error check tools under the tools tab in the right click properties window.

Download a program called FreeUndelete from here and install it but before you open it, connect your MP3 player or insert your SD card. After you start the program up, select the drive letter that represents the memory you want to scan for deleted files.Click the scan button above the list and wait. If there's too many results, then look near the bottom of the window. There should be a"Filter found files" line where you can enter in the file type of the photos you lost. It probably should be this: "*.jpg" Once you have found the files you want to recover, create a folder you want to save them to in your My Documents folder and copy the path to that folder by right clicking on it then clicking properties. The path you need to copy is the line called Location (don't actually copy "Location: ".Just what's after it :p ) Now paste it in the line called "Undelete selected file(s) To" under the "Filter found files" line. Make sure you paste over the existing text. Finally, click the Undelete button to the right and Viola! check the files out in the folder you created in your My Documents folder.
