It requires a port opened on your firewall to work.  Check with the software to find out which ones they need and then open the ports using the ip address of the router in internet explorer.  Type in your user id and password.  Go to Applications and gaming.  Go to port triggering.  Type in the application name on the first column and add the starting and ending port to the trigering range.

Well i have a jvc everio and i know how to put videos on youtube but is there a way to title them myself because when i put it on youtube it just says a bunch of letters and numbers. so how do i put my own...

Title them before you upload them to Youtube. The file name is the title of the media files. Unless they have an option to ad a title then just do it when you right click on the file, see if you can rename the file you are uploading by right clicking on the file itself before you upload it in the file manager and change its name unless it is your personal file name them before actually making it or posting it. Turn the DSL modem off.
Turn the Linksys router off.
Turn your computer off.
Turn the DSL modem on.
Wait for its lamps to settle-down to a consistent pattern.

Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD
Press Enter
Type IPCONFIG
You should get output somewhat like: Default Gateway .... 192.168.123.456
if you have a connection between your router and your computer.
If you have that connection, you should be able to upload new firmware from your computer to the router.

I just moved into a new apartment and I am currently attempting to use the same linksys router that I used at my old place (without difficulity). My lap top in the bottom right corner displays...

> excellent connectivity

This refers to the wireless connection between your computer & your router, not to the connection from your cable-modem (or DSL-modem) out through your ISP to the Internet.

If you use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer directly to the cable/DSL modem, do you still have "intermittent" problems?
If so, then your router (or other wireless devices, such as your neighbours' router, or your neighbours' wireless telephones that are trying to operate on the same broadcast frequency) is the problem.

Belkin N 150 slow connection with MACs only & PCs are fine.

I had the same problem.
My solution was related to the fact that I had configured my router for OpenDNS.
Once I added those DNS servers to the DNS tab in System Preferences on my macbook Pro, the speed problem disappeared.
Hope this helps you, as well.

Enable UPnP....UPnP can help make sure NAT works correctly for Xbox LIVE. Usually, this can be set on your router configuration web page, which is supplied by your router manufacturer. And, make sure UDP is open for the Xbox ports your using.

Have you checked your HOSTS file? It may have been tampered with somehow. I ask this because you're having issues with both browsers. If it's not a DNS problem, it may be linked to hosts file, which determines what websites you can get to see.

No upload via Router

EZ reset; unplug the internet from the modem to the router and the AC power. Unplug all devices plugged into the router. Have a java with or without cream or sugar. Plug router AC and internet back in. Plug in your computer in that order. Have a couple sips of java. Put cup down and reload your browser. You might have to restart your PC but not usually. If you still have problems, unplu everything including the modem. Power and replug everything from the modem outward, and only add devices one at a time. Always take your time as you go from one to the next. Rots of Ruck.
