I had MS Outlook 2003 up until yesterday but today when I attempt to open it I get a message that it is missing 'Extend.dat'. I have Microsoft Office 2003. I have two computers, A HP Compaq DX2200 (I can not got on tghe web because I can't get an IP address. I'm using my laptop and can't sent or receive e-mails. Monday, Jayson. in Michigan with FixYa was helping me with another problem. I have his e-mail (email@example.com) but not his phone number. Can you help me?
The Extend.dat file is an information file created by outlook to store some small, usually useless information. It is located in a folder that's usually buried and hidden on most Windows PC's. Try this.
