Question about Maytag Atlantis MAV6451 Top Load Washer
I had the same problem today after disassembling and reassembling the same model. In another post they talk about the idiotic white plastic retainers that sit on top of the tub and how mold collects on their undersides. When you replace these, make sure their seated correctly so that they can move independently of each other. The bottom white ring had shifted and locked against the upper ring causing the agitator to stop spinning as well as the tubs. Once I shifted the two rings back to their correct position everything worked normally. Probably a rare fluke but easy to check out and the good news is you don't have to get out a single tool. Good luck
