This is usually done via your Firewall.
For detailed instructions using Windows XP version, see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa366778(VS.85).aspx

If you are using a different firewall you need to look up the instructions/help files for something similar

Having problems with big fish games on my computer

Make certain you are using their latest software.

1) Open your Big Fish Games module that lists all your games.
2) Click on the little "gear" icon that says "options"
3) Click the "About" tab that should be to the far right at top
4) Click the button to Check for Software Updates.

If there are any available, it will then be updated and you should restart your computer and try again.

Good luck

My pc turns off automatically when iam working on it. its a desktop intel mother board with i3 2nd gen processor 2100 4gb dynet ram 500gb hdd, tell me what is the relative problem

first possibility - Your system is pulling too much power from your power supply while running that game. Your graphics card is probably pulling too much power and your PS isn't a high enough wattage.

second possibility - Your processor is overheating due to the increase load on it. This can happen if your cooling is insufficient or if your heat sync is a poor stock quality. Are all your fans running? If your card was overheating you would only get graphic failures but the PC would still be running.

Start by downloading a temperature monitoring program for your computer and run it while you run the game. see how hot your processor gets. Find online the normal range of your processor is and compare it with you are recording. If you aren't hitting any high temps then refer to the first possibility.

Before i playing a online games but in a day my game are need a directX 9.0c version what can i do to play again can you help me???

You need to download the updated version of DirectX in order for it to work. You can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

This will provide you with DirectX version 9.

Make sure you frequently check Windows Update to ensure your system stays up to date.

Lost Driver Files after recovery

Try visiting the support site for the model of computer and downloading all drivers for that model to a thumb drive. This has worked for me whenever I work with certain models. If your computer does not have acces to the web, try using a friends or library computer. Make sure you take any model numbers and serial numbers or service tag information with you.

Window xp

A pirated windows cannot be made genuine in any way. There are patches that just disable the genuine windows check, but the windows still wont be genuine, and you wont be able to download certain updates from Microsoft.

Regarding performance there is no difference between a genuine windows and non genuine one. However non genuine windows does not download all updates, this can cause troubles when a software need the updates.

Always better using genuine Windows.

Resolution 3:
VPN and Proxy.
You are trying to access Windows Update using VPN. The website and Automatic Update may not function properly.
Autoproxy is not picking up the wpad.dat proxy configuration file to determine the proxy to be used for the target URL. Thus we are going with no proxy!
1. Try to access Windows Update while not using VPN connection.
2. Use the proxycfg tool to specify a proxy server to use (proxycfg.exe -p <proxy server>). (contact your network administrator to find out the name and port of this proxy.)
