Before replacing your printhead, try cleaning the printer, run the cleaning card and also clean the printhead using the alcohol saturated swab, zebra part number 105909-169. In some cases that will fix your issue, if not your printhead needs to be replaced. If replacing your printhead, please make sure your card stock are clean and don't have sharp edges as that could be the cause for a scratched/burned pixel on the printhead.

I didn't use my printer for quite a long time. When I wanted to print with it, it qould only print in green. I changed all the ink catridgesbut then it only printed in red. It won't print in any color...

In many cases after a printer has not been used for a long period of time, the ink will become dry. Most printers will have a "Clean print heads" option. Also trying to print a page or two may resolve the issue.
If it continues however, the printer may need replaced. Dried ink can block the print heads and in some cases can not be unblocked without taking the printer apart, which will void the warranty.

How to improve print quality
Cleaning the print head
To ensure good print quality, the MFC will regularly clean the print
head. You can start the cleaning process manually if needed.
Clean the print head and ink cartridges if you get a horizontal line in
the text or graphics on your printed pages. You can clean Black only
or three colors at a time (Cyan/Yellow/Magenta), or all four colors at
once.
Cleaning the print head consumes ink. Cleaning too often uses ink
unnecessarily.
Caution
Do NOT touch the print head. Touching the print head may cause
permanent damage and may void the print head’s warranty.
1 Press Ink.
2 Press or to select Cleaning.
Press Menu/Set.
3 Press or to select Black, Color or All.
Press Menu/Set.
The MFC will clean the print head. When cleaning is finished,
the MFC will go back to standby mode automatically.
If you clean the print head at least five times and the print has
not improved, call Brother Customer Service (see Brother
numbers on page i).

07,010.43:135802

That is a print head tilt or X-Y axis fault.
1 of three things causes it to not move.
1 there is a stainless steel print head block that fills up with the ink that runs out of the maintenance tray. Mostly because the printer is not sitting level. But it needs to be cleaned.
2, The print head wiper blade has tacked to the print head, or 3, The wiper blade clutch has failed.

Xerox phaser 8550 get error code 07,010.43:20720

That is a print head tilt or axis failure.
There are 2 problems that cause that 95 percent of the time.
1 is a stainless steel pivot block on the left side frame that gets filled with overflow ink. Needs cleaned.
2. The print head wiper blade is stuck to the print head due to shuting it down improperly or a power failure.

X-axis trouble

I had the same problem with my X52 and searched high and low on the internet for a solution. What I did was pop the base off and found a loose connection on the x-axis wires. I re-routed both the x and y axis contact wires underneath the p/s2 port and put it back together. Seems to be working fine now. I will not that opening up the controller will void your warranty and it also could be possible that your x-axis problem could stem from something completely different from what was wrong with mine. You may contact me if you need any help with it. mynameisbob AT gmail DOT com.

I have a xerox c2424 with a error code 07,010.43:15852 can you help ps i am a printer service tech

Yep.
That code is caused from the print head not being able to move freely either front to back or on the X-Y axis motor.
the 2 most likely problems are, 1 the stainless steel print block, located on the left side of the machine looking from the front, is contaminated with spill over ink. It is located about midway back on the lower part of the frame. Need to remove and clean it. 2. The wiper blade is tacked to the front of the print head, between the print head and the drum. Needs to be carefully loosened off the print head.
The print head cables could be to tight, the wiper clutch could be failing or the process drive motor may need timed. But the first two items I mentioned are the most likely cause.
That code pops up when the print head can not freely move .

Xerox phaser 8400

Replacing the pring head.
1. Remove the side covers.
2. Remove the ink loader assembly. There are 2 connectors on the ink loader. SO remove it slowly.
3. Remove the spring guides on the print head. One on each side, Held in my one torx screw.
4. Remove the spring bracked assembly on the left side of the printer, it puts pressure on the XY axis motor to position the print head. Just pop it off and position it up and to the left of the bracket.
5. Remove the steel square block on the left bottom side of the frame.
6. Unplug the harness and ribbon cables and then from the back of the printer, remove the print head, be careful not to hit the drum.
Install the print head, the ribbon cables are somewhat difficult to plug back in, Just be patient. and make sure they are conneted firmly. Also when replacing the cables and harness, be sure they are routed corectly so the print head does not get bound on them.
Set the print head into position and install the steel block, then the spring bracket on the XY motor, then the spring brackets in the proper positions. Dont forget to put that spring bracket back on, It is easy to over look.
Make sure all things are plugged in on the print head.
Next reinstall the ink loader, make sure all connectors are connected.
Install the covers and you are done.
Take your time, probably should take about an hour. Just to it carefully and methodically.
