Windows XP SP3 platform with single Delta 66. Record audio works fine but I'm unable to hear played back audio through computer. It appears onboard audio card disabled. Any suggestions?

Go to Device Manager and enable the audio card.
If you cannot enable the audio card or it is not working then install the audio driver again.

My audio is not working

You can check your audio by using these steps.

1. If you have speakers, check if it is plugged properly into your audio port which is the port with the "green" color. Check your speakers if it is turned on, put to low volume, or no power or check your audio settings on your computer if it is muted.

2. If step 1 doesnt make your audio work, you should check if your computer has audio driver installed, it depends on the manufacturer which audio driver should you install. if it is built in audio, you could use the mother board driver cd.

3. If still your audio is not working , you may have problems on your device. If you have external audio device, you should try to check if it is plugged properly on your motherboard. If still doesnt work. you should buy a new one..

Hope this will help you out. =)

Problem audio

hi im josh in phils. friend may i help you?
Audio is not working. Friend i guess you already know that to make the pc audio work is you need to install or run the audio driver separate cd if you are using with audio cards.and mainboard driver if you are using audio built in on board. then if you haven;t did it so you need to do it.but if you have already installed a such then it is still not working then here are some suggestions of what to do.
1. Go to audio setup utility in BIOS and have the audio select enabled.if done
2. try to run the cd audio first while installing some software right after formating or installing O.S. because there are some mainboards that requires the audio to be run first before the others and you failed to do that audio will not work.
3.There are mainboards or pc such as IBM netvista IBM, COMPAQ, other branded etc.and especially your DELL. that even though you have installed the software it will not work automatically you need to run it first manually to work here: you go to the my computer ryt clck thenn device settings then update/install driver clck then browse go to the drive c where the software audio driver installed find the run or setup then hit it let it run for a while then after press ok reboot your pc. then at start of wndows you wl hear a sound it means successfull installed you can now play audio progrms. thats all friend base from my experience of such many units. good luck hope i helped you.
