Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
I have all the screws out and now what do you do next to get the screen out?
Most housings, lower and upper, have only a few screws to avoid the case opening up from torsional forces but have snaps around the edges that must be pried open,
If you have a clean, straight putty knife, these are normally thin enough to fit into the slot around the case edge and start the opening process. Once you see a wider crack, the rest will normally yield to good fingernails.
