My hp nx9030 laptop shows yellow on the battery and plue when I turn it on by nothing else happens the screen is blank and the fan does not turn on either. Please help

Power drain would be a better solution in this case.1.first shut down the comp2.unplug the charger3. remove the batteryand after press and hold the power button for 60 seconds without any charger and the battery.After the 60 seconds replug the battery and the charger and turn the computer
And if the issue still persists.update the bios of your computer to the latest version which is available on the HP website.

Need a new battery, I believe. Just find hp compaq nc8340 battery replacement.

This looks like it can't recognize the hard disk or it's empty - no OS. To check that it's not a hardware fault just boot from a Linux Live-CD like http://pclinuxos.com/
If the hard disk is there and with all the data apparently intact then most likely the MBR was corrupted, fix it.

Nothing to worry, Open your laptop from the back side.Remove the RAM  and reinsert it.

Your system will work fine.

Try to reinstall ur windows

Please do not panic....The first thing what we need to do is perform a hard reset...What does Hard Reset mean... Unplug the A/C Adapter Pin from the notebook...Turn the notebook upside down and then remove the battery from the notebook...Turn the notebook in the upright position and then press the power button for 30 seconds without the battery and without the A/C Adapter Pin connected to the notebook... After 30 seconds place the battery in the battery outlet and connect the A/C Adapter pin and restart the notebook...Check if you can see anything on the screen....If you can't see anything on the screen then please perform a forced shutdown by pressing the power button down until all the lights have turned off...Then as soon as you restart the notebook press the F10 key continously on the keyboard...It will take you to the BIOS Screen... Check if you see the screen...If the screen is still blank then don't perform the next step....Click N for No...Then press the F9 key and then select Y as in Yes...again press the F10 Key then press Y and it will boot to the desktop.... still you have the same problem then perform a recovery....If the screen is blank in the BIOS Menu then try connecting an External Monitor...If you cannot see anything on the screen it is a problem with your video card or monitor you will have to contact HP since your fan does not work...If you have any other queries please don't hesitate to contact me and i will help you with the same.....

try to remove your memory/ies. then plug it to ac power without battery, if it turns on try to unplug and put back the memory module (one by one if more than 1). plug and switch on if it works then put everything back if not, you ned to replacethe memory.
