Fuse only blows when there is a short circuit ahead. you need to check the bridge rectifier, main capacitor, main switching device, and associated parts for short circuit with the help of a resistence meter. only after replacing the bad part with good one, you should replace the fuse with same rating.

Epson stylus cx6600. How can I get rid of the message box telling me I am not using Epson carts. I know they are not Epson carts but there must be away of having not to click YES I want to continue using...

Hi Andy,

This helps remove the nag screen:

  1. Go to Printers and Faxes (or the equivalent screen that lists all your printers)
  2. Right click your CX6600 printer and choose "Printing Preferences"
  3. Click on the "Maintenance" tab
  4. Click on the "Speed & Progress" button
  5. Tick the "Disable EPSON Status Monitor" checkbox
  6. Click on OK
  7. Click on OK to close the Preferences window
That should sort you out and allow you to print in relative peace...

Cheers,

Martin

Scaner does not work with Windows 7, are there any

Hi

Yes there is a scanner driver available, this however is a Twain driver and you will need to use the "Import" or "Aquire" function from within word, office scanning utility, Adobe Standard etc for this to work.

Check out this link and use the "TWAIN" driver.

My epson cx6600

most printers have a slo blow fuse to protect the power supply, you would have to take off the cover that the cords runs into and check the board for fuse continuity with an ohm meter if all fuses are good check the two wires from the power cord to the same board for 120 volts. if you have voltage at the board, more than likely you have a bad board.

Epson Stylus CX6600 All in One

I had the same problem that was similar where it would get to 16% of the document and then say that the printer is not responding. I unplugged the USB and plugged it back in and that fixed it, but it did the same thing about a month ago.

Will not turn on, have tried various outlets

1 of 2 things.
Either you have an inline fuse on the power supply that has failed.
If there is not a fuse, then the power supply itself has failed.
