I can't get my speakers to work. I have a supermicro x7db8 mb, sound blaster audigy sound card, logitech x-530 speakers, Windows xp sp3. Card is inserted in a pci-x slot, and shows up as working properly in device manager. Drivers are updated, speakers work, are connected properly and not muted or disabled.

I should add that I tried to troubleshoot using the headphone method on the Creative Labs website and concluded the issue is with the card not the speakers.

Hi, Make sure the speakers are plugged in to the green plug on the card. Also make sure card is properly in the right slot. Good luck.

When I bought the sound card I made sure I got one that was easy to set up - green plug to green port, black to black, yellow to yellow(ish). Never any problems until I upgraded to a new motherboard. Thanks for trying though

Logitech x530

I have had this a few times with customers. You might want to check if the sound cards front speaker ports are working correctly. If the card is working, the problem might be with your right front speaker, ckech that it is working. You might also want to check the settings in control panel; this has helped me a number of times.

cheers
