Question about HP Inkjet 1200dn Printer

Open Question

My printer does not print the first page.

The printer is configured to print from front to back. When I print a document, it will print all of the other pages, then the last page to come out of the printer is always blank.

when I print the printer prints the third page first and then the last page that it prints comes out blank although there is data on the page.

I have replaced the drivers several times, replace the head & cartage. I also spent 3 hours on the phone with HP tech support.

It is still doing the samething.

SOURCE: prints extra blank page for every one page of printed material

I believe this will solve your problem. It did for me.

delete your printing device and reinstall,
when it asks for your driver, let it search for it.
When your options come up, find "HP" then look for "HP Officejet 7200"
DO NOT install "HP Photoprinter 7200".

This should take care of it.
    Good Luck!

    Scaled Printing
The procedure for specifying a scaling value and printing a document with pages enlarged or reduced to match the document to the paper size is as follows:
    1. Open the printer driver setup window, and select Scaled Printing from the Page Layout list on the Page Setup tab.
figure:Select Scaled Printing for Page Layout on the Page Setup tab
    2. Using Page Size, select the page size that was set with your application.
    3. Do either of the following to set a scaling factor:
    Select a Printer Paper Size.
Select a printer paper size, which is different from the Page Size, from the Printer Paper Size list. If the printer paper size is smaller than the Page Size, the page image will be reduced. If the printer paper size is larger than the page size, the page image will be enlarged.6c3578e0-f243-44b0-aa8e-f7bb7752ed56.jpg

figure:Printer Paper Size on the Page Setup tab
    Specify a scaling factor.
Directly type in a value into the Scaling box.

figure:Scaling on the Page Setup tab
The current settings are displayed in the Settings Preview on the left side of the printer driver.
    4. Click OK.
When you execute print, the document will be printed with the specified scale.
If the application software with which you created the original has the scaled printing function, configure the settings on your application software. You do not need to also configure the same setting in the printer driver. When Scaled Printing is selected, the Staple Side list box appears grayed out and is unavailable (when Duplex Printing is not selected). When Borderless Printing check box is checked for the Page Layout list, Scaled Printing cannot be selected.
Selecting Scaled Printing changes the printable area.

    Hope this helps
