Hi, It appears that the your computer taking some time to login to windows. I suggest that when the computer finally booted successfully into Windows, you need to disable all the startup items under the system configuration.

Just type in "msconfig" under the "Run" screen and hit the enter key or click OK. Please click on the Startup tab then click on "Disable All" then hit "Apply" and "OK". You need to restart the computer to so that the settings will be updated.

Hope this helps!!!

I need to reboot my lenovo pc to original setting as i have put wrong programmes an the c drive is nearly full

okay, get a porable device such as a portable hard drive and copy everything to it, then put your laptop back to factory settings, it will wipe your hard drive and then install the original soft ware but make sure to copy all items, including your install setup programs so that you can install what you need, if you have the operating system (windows disk) then you can also format your hard drive, this will delete your whole hard drive and when its done it will reset, enter your BIOS and reinstall windows, this may take between 2 to 48 hours depending on your hard ware installed.

HP Pavilion DV5000 battery charging problem

Sounds like you need to calibrate the battery, it is supposed to be done every 3 months. If it is not done, your battery will display the same symptoms are you describe. Yes, this holds true for adding a new battery also.

Here is HP's instructions on how to do it. You want to scroll down to the section called "Calibrate the notebook PC battery".

Dell pc to slow

Yes, you can get (any) help. You must run a Registry Cleaner. It will clean your Windows registry which seems to be having irrelevant entries. You can down load one free from or you can search google for free registry cleaners. I had the same problem and my laptop used to take over 20 mins to boot. I cleaned it with one RC and now it gallops like a new laptop. I do not think that you have any hardware problem.

Laptop battery is not charging

you need to repalce the battery, it will only work on AC power only now as the power surge damaged the battery, thank your lucky stars that the surge didn't blow the whole laptop because 98% of the time it does!
