We have one in toshiba and ive used it before but its not that accurate like when you say it fast it will generate another sentence which is not relevant to what you say, you can try it and download it @ support.toshiba.com and install it in your system
hope that helps

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

There are some good OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software , a free one is Google OCR

http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/

Or use Microsoft Office built in OCR using Office Document Imaging.

Tip

Overcome tazti's (speech recognition software)custom speech command limitation.

you can open more programs in tazti . do this: 1.open notepad and type start "" "here type the path of any program you like"
you can include the programs like this;
start "" "C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch " start "" "C:\DOCUME~1\MYPC~1\LOCALS~1\Temp" start "" "C:\WINDOWS\Temp"
Then save this text file with "bat" extension .ex:(filename.bat)
then you can add this file to tazti .
run the file (filename.bat) using tazti .

*save your tazti's custom command memory*

What do you mean by (ocr) on an x2670

Optical character recognition, usually abbreviated to OCR, is the mechanical or electronic translation of scanned images of handwritten, typewritten or printed text into machine-encoded text.
These can be scanned in a word processor or other programs, then can be modified. It is software usually include with your Printer/Scanner

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response.

Thanks, Joe

What are the functions of ocr

An OCR program (optical character recognition program) converts scanned text documents into a text file which you can then open with a word processor to edit and or add addition text to this document.

Voice to text

I'm into VB and all but I've never done voice to text or text to voice. A place to start with your research may be Opera Web Browser. From what I hear they have a speech recognition option built in so users can play around with voice commands. Maybe there is something to learn from them. :)
