The best you can do is to pull the head unit by yourself, write down the serial number and go to you local dealer; they'll give you the code in a couple minutes...no cost, no pain.

    33134 - ----------------- 31314

    93366 - ----------------- 33616

    and 33616 would work too

1. codes are printed in fuse boxes, under hoods, in glove boxes, under ashtrays. pretty much anywhere and is usually always on white sticker

2. u get the serial off the radio and the vin number, call your nearest dealer. they can legitly look up your code for you and help you in some cases u might need to prove your bill of sale.

3. no most companies can't get u a code with just the vin they need the radios serial cause diff radios get put in diff cars so the model number might be diff along with the code.

4. if you can't do any of this go to the dealer they will charge you to pull the radio out get the code and enter it.

I bought Alpine X-305s head unit for my 2004 Mazda 6. My Mazda has the standard AM/FM with CD player. It does not have the BOSE system. It does not have an additional CD changer. My question is: will I...

The usual items you will need is a wiring harness and an install kit. The wiring harness will allow you to hook the radio to it, and then just plug into the car. The install kit will have all the little mounts and trim rings you might need. Each of them cost around $15 each, unless you have some crazy set up. Your's doesn't sound like that. You can purchase these items at www.crutchfield.com and you can search for your specific vehicle. Hope this helps.

I recently installed the Alpine iDA-X100 model and I am having difficulties with my sub and amp. It works perfectly fine when it's on radio mode, however as soon as I switch it to Ipod it turns my amp...

Hi,

Initially, determine if the remote trigger of the amp is present on both instances; radio and iPod. This would be the blue or blue/white wire from head unit and would read +12VDC when the head unit is turned on. Otherwise, if +12 is present during radio mode but absent during iPod, then it might be that the internal switching would need looking into or a short temporary fix would be to wire a separate power on toggle switch for the amp.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Lost radio code jaguar ,alpine part no 4x43-18b876-ac jacc4040672655

In case radio unit is not fitted in the orginal car dealers wouldn't help you with code by VIN number, however you can calculate your radio code from radio serial number online here:

http://www.radionavicode.ivgsoft.com/select.php?MK=20

Note, this is only place where you can get your Alpine made Jaguar radio codes online

If I enter the correct code for the BMW Alpine car radio - CM5903, the radio still does not work. Code is 21214.

Are you sure that you have the correct working code ?
ie...have you used it before successfully or is it the one printed on a Passcard or in the Car Documents?

In my bmw 318i the battery died and now my radio is asking for a code. how do i find out what the code is?

To find the code you have to go back to where you bought the car, Bmw dealership or a autoshop. I went to a autoshop and got mine after my battery died. Some may charge some me not.
