Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Hi there, I have a set of Logitech X-210 speakers and was wanting to connect them up to my old tv to enhance the dated sound. My tv has no headphone socket, only scart and red and white audio sockets. The other alternative would be to somehow to connect them to my sky+ box but again, this has no headphone socket. I cannot afford a new speaker system so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, Deb :)

Bad connection on that one speaker, if you have tested the system with other equipment and it works thn you MUST have a bad connection INSIDE you DVD player. If your DVD had a whole channel out on your output amplifier I beleive then 2 speakers would not work so more than likely you have a bad solder joint inside system for DVD output

with your tv swiched on, Turn your sky box off then keep your finger on the backup button whilst turning your box back on, make sure you keep your finger on backup button until all the lights come on on the front of your sky box, or a message comes on screen (tv) saying "UPDATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE, DO NOT DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS, THIS WILL TAKE APPROX 10 MINS"
if this does not help give me a bell on 07738910264 after 330pm mon-fri

hi, i recommend just using the headphone out, and it probably will not hurt the notebook, as it is not feeding back into the notebooks sound device. you may wish to do as i did, and get a creative labs external sound card. much improvement over the on-board high def sound built into my acer notebook.with all the connections you would want! as for speakers there are alot of models to pick from.i usually go with creative, but this time i went logitech- thx, dts, ect. and i am very happy. i hope this helps you make a decision on what do. good luck!glen
