If thats the case i think you need to reset the CMOS battery inside the motherboard

Won't start or POST. I see the power and battery light blinking at the same time. I removed the battery and turn it on but the same situation. I also reseated the memory. Still did not boot or do POST....


Remove Battery and connect power cord then try booting. if it doesn't boot then try removing the RAM and then try booting see if it gives any beeps.

My AcerOne Dose not Boot... The Adapter light is On wen Plug in, The power swich turns On. but Nothing Happens. No Post or nothing. What could be the problem ??????


Hi there.
Take out the laptop battery and try to boot the machine on AC power only.
If it boots turn it back off and reinsert the battery and try to boot again.

No, there is no way to bypass the bios.
The bios performs the Power On Self Test...post...before booting the PC from the hard drive. IF post fails the PC will not boot.
IF you can get into the bios you may be able to chance some settings in there and get the machine to boot. Usually, there is a setting to return the bios to default values...try that.

Averatec 3225hs windows xp won't boot up


Hi there.
Turn on the computer and press the [F8] key during the POST procedure. this will take you to a sub menu where you can choose to boot into safe mode.

Did you put a CPU in it? That's the only thing you didn't talk about in your post. Other than that, are mem modules good?
