Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
Hello, I recently left verizon and switched to Comcast for my service (VOIP) but in mid calls my uniden DCT648-3 phones will lose the call and give me the error message of "line on hold" or "please wait". What is causing this is it my phone or my provider. My corded phone has no issues

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

Had a similar issue with a brand new DECT2035 uniden phone, displaying incoming call not caller ID.
Checked my old uniden phone, and it was receiving CID. So I connected my DECT2035 to that line and then lo and behold I got my CID.
After further investigation I found that CID on my dect phone wont work if its using a shared filter (ie. adsl/phone splitter). Had to find an unfiltered splitter and then just put a phone filter (that I got with my adsl modem) onto the line that is directly connecting the phone. and then WOOHOO I have caller ID.
Hope this helps you... I got my wife a little cranky over this one cos it took me over an hour and a half to try and sus this one out =)

SOURCE: my uniden dct648-3 keeps saying "warning please wait" and it fully charged - so it says. i can hear the phone ring but as soon as i pick it up and hit talk, that darn message appears and i hear nothin
I had this exact same problem. I had to reset all three handsets. Select menu, system reset, replacing base, then follow directions. This worked for one unit but the other ones I had to buy new batteries eventhough they showed fully charged. Good Luck
