You can try running "ccleaner", a free download. It will assist in removing corrupt registry entries. Then try downloading your GPS application and reinstalling.

Software freeze up

You might have to many programs trying to or accessing your computer or the internet at the same time or a virus Scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications and processes to see you whats running and ticking over if you see anything you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific program if you or computer does not require it to run and some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you dont need to be running select end now

You might have to uninstall the current version of word you have on your computer then restart your computer then run the jet clean utility. http://download.cnet.com/jetclean/3000-18512_4-75627788.html JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again. Then delete cookies Here is a very simple guide on how to delete cookies manually from your computer.

Click on "tools" in your browser. This is usually located in the upper right corner of your browser. Click on Internet options. This will appear in the drop down box and is usually at the bottom. Under the "General" tab look for "Browsing History." Under this heading you can click "Delete" to have the computer delete all cookies for you automatically however to delete the cookies manually click on the "Settings" tab Click on the "View Files" tab under the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" box that pops up. When you do a second box will pop up with a list of cookie containing files. This may take a few seconds to load so be patient while waiting for the cookie files to load. Highlight any cookie file that you would like to delete. You can highlight more than one at a time by holding down the 'Ctrl" button on your keypad Delete the files that are highlighted by clicking on the "delete this item" located to the left in the same box. As soon as you do you will see the selected files disappear. When you are done just "X" off; this completes your task of manually deleting cookies. You might also do a disk clean up click start click on computer to open right click on your hard drive usually C: select properties in the general tab select disk clean up click ok you can view files to be deleted. Then reinstall word Hope this helps.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My computer won't turn on properly. It keeps saying disk error press control alt delete. When I do it just says it again and again. It won't load and turn on.

First you should check if there is any disk on your cd room, if there is any disk you should remove the disk from the cd room, if there is no disk the possibility is your hard drive getting error
Press f2 or delete to enter your bios set up system
Look for boot menu
Set the first boot as a HDD and the second boot as cd room and disable the third boot
Save and Exit the setting
if your computer still won't load you need to reinstall your windows
insert windows cd and go to set up again by pressing f2 or delete button
Set the first boot as cd room then the second boot as HDD
Save and exit the setting again
When the message press any key to boot from cd appears you should press the space bar or another key
Then just follow the instruction of formatting

Can not delete it is used by another program close any program that might be using the file an try again

Reboot the computer and as soon as you get back into windows try deleting the file again. If you get the same message then go into MSCONFIG (type it in the search box) into the startup tab. Disable all the programs and reboot the computer. Try deleting the file again. If you still can't delete it then it may be a system file your trying to delete and those I wouldn't mess with because it could screw up windows.
Last thing to try would be to boot up your computer in safe mode. Since it doesn't load much into memory you should be able to delete your file that way for sure.

Go to your control panel and then go to programs. In your programs delete the programs that you want. Go through the control panel then programs to delete a program not task manager. Task manager only cancels the program use at that time it does not delete.

E-260 freezes when computer is trying to read it in Rhapsody program

I read some of the other post and found that I needed to use Windows Media Player. I had the Rhapsody program on my computer as well. Once I downloaded Windows Media Player I was able to access the files and add and delete songs.

My husband is not a big fan of Media Player. Lets hope I haven't done anything that he will have to fix. :)

Good Luck.
