Question about Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380011A 80 GB Hard Drive
When i run fdisk..it shows error reading fixed disk...but i shows no error when i partitioned in winxp setup...pllzzz help
The first boot sector of the hard drive is corrupt so fdisk wont work
please use software to repair the boot sectors zero and 63.
usually the softwares are superfdisk which is free on net.
also if you fail use seagate disk manager bootable version. it will be very quick and handy in long term too to format seagate hard drives
