Causes:1- the 130 deg thermostat is open. 2- working thermostat, 104 deg, defective, allowing temp to rise.3- the machine becomes hot because the water valve is stock open. machine needs to be sealed so not to allow water to boil.Water boils at 100 deg Celsius. 4- valvolino or o-rings are worn out and leaking. You need a repair shop.

My Lavazza Espresso Point red light next to light bulb light is always flashing, What does that mean?

The light above the STOP button is a power indicator. It will be illuminated when the machine is powered on. This light will blink steadily if there is an issue with the thermostats or the unit is running too hot. Before calling for service, try running the HOT WATER function to allow water to pass through the boiler. This light may also begin to blink after making multiple espressos in a row or using the steam wand for a prolonged period of time. If the light returns to a solid red, your machine is functioning properly and there is no need for service.

Lavazza 2100

You could avoid this problem by flashing water out without any capsule in. In anycase is a simple problem, you need to disasemble the machine and remove the head shower and wash it from dry coffee liquid which is blocked all the showers holes.

I have a Lavazza Point Expresso Machine and it started leaking water out of the front. I believe it needs a gasket, but can't seem to get the parts to come off to get to it. I have used an Alen Wrench,...

When replacing the o-rings inside the boiler the operation should be carried out by a certified technician for these machines. When the boiler is dismantled it is recommended that all o-rings and springs in the boiler be replaced as these are ware parts. When the boiler is apart this is also an opportune time to do some manual cleaning to the internal parts. This is an easy task but as I said before must be carried out by a certified technician. Special tools not readily available to homeowners are required to rebuild the boiler once dismantled. I am sure there are many repair facilities around but location wise I am not sure. I have heard that espressozone.com are nice and will do repairs. Perhaps try them. You may also try contacting a lavazza rep and they may be able to point you in the right direction.
