I just finished fixing this problem on mine. DL = Door Latch. i am guessing you hear 6 clicks (processor trying to latch door) then the error. while i was poking around inside the unit i found a service manual inside (behind the bottom cover, remove 3 screws to gain access). the service manual reminded the tech to always try unplugging and replacing the connectors on the processor since oxidation is a major problem. the manual also noted the connector numbers (DS3... i think). i removed the top cover (3 screws on the back, slide back, lift off), found the processor, unplugged and reseated the connectors (did some others just for good measure), plugged the unint back in (ALWAYS UNPLUG BEFORE WORKING ON IT), and it worked. in case that doesn't fix it, you couldtry replacing the latch assy for about $50. good luck

wash another load and see what happens the f-dl code means door lock problem and f-11 means communication error between top control board and the bottom control board if you can wash a load completly everything will be ok but you can't let me know and we see where to go from there
The door lock is not telling the control the door is locked. Faulty door switch or failed control or loose wire.Try pushing in on the door while it tries to start. Advanced trouble shooting may be required. Eric
the dl code is a door lock error, open door and examine door lock assy mounted on front panel.look for a plastic push pin approx 5inches up from square lock assy.if that pin is missing, replace door lock.if pin is there, you could still have bad door lock or loose wire connected to door lock.
ckd door lock first may be latch itself or strike on door ..to replace remove door boot spring pull boot off and roll back out of way remove the screws in frame pull switch through opening and remove wires
Adjacent to the "Control Locked" light is the DRAIN/SPIN button. Push it in and hold for 3 seconds. This should unlock the control panel. If it doesn't, let me know.
This is a designed feature of the washer to lock the controls to prevent small children from accidentally turning the washer on or manipulating the controls in any way. The control can be locked by holding the DRAIN/SPIN button in for seconds, and released the same way. If someone leans against the button this can also occur. Hopefully this will be an easy fix for you. I hope this helps.
The FdL fault is a door lock error code. It sounds like you may have a bad door latch. Unplugging it and/or pushing the cancel button will not clear the fault as long as the fault condition exists. At best, you may have to replace the door latch. At worst, the CCU (main computer) could also be bad, causing the fault. The door latch can run about $50. The CCU is about $200. Double check all you wiring first before replacing any parts. I hope this will help you.
Teecee, F11 is a communication error between the main board and the motor control board. The main board is on top and the motor control board is behind the lower panel. Sometimes the harness to these boards become loose causing this error. You would have to get at them and reseat the connections. F dl has to do with the door lock mechanism. You might of just had the door open when you reset the machine. To get at the main board on top you have to remove the 3 screws in back for the top. It will then slide back and off. To get at the motor control board, you will have to remove the bottom panel. The board will be in the back. Catriver..post back.
