WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO SET THE CLOCK - Microwave Ovens

I know there is a cook timer and a clock ....Hit clock ...set time..then hit clock again....That's how mine works... Hope that helps

So just to make sure that it wasnt an easy fix, I went to the Dunelm site to see if they had a manual. No such luck.

I did however see that on the front of this microwave (the cream one), there are 6 buttons near the top. One of them is the Preset/clock button.

What I have known with most (not all) is that with the clock feature, you press the clock, set it and press clock once more.
HOWEVER
With this model because clock is the SECOND item listed, I suggest to press that button twice, wait for the clock to come up 00:00 and set it using the same button (preset option).
Unfortunately I don't know this for certain as I am only using an educated deduction on other brands of microwaves with similar front panels.

I really hope this helps, please let me know if it works as I will be contacting Dunelm to ask for a pdf manual.

usually you push clock, put in time, push clock, click am/pm to whichever it is, then push clock again. That should set it.

This is a standard 12-hour clock (12:00-11:59) and does not show a.m.or p.m.

To set:

The microwave oven and timer must be off.

1. Touch Clock.
2. Touch the number pads to set the time of day.
3. Touch Clock or Start.

to set the time on you're micro wave you will need to push the clock button and use you're number pad to enter the time and once you have got the time set properly you will need to press the clock button again.... hope this helps you out sincerely D.Jones

Try these combinations:

Clock > 1 > 2 > 3 > Clock

Clock > 1 > 2 > 3 > Start

Clear > Clock > 1 > 2 > 3 > Clock

Clear > Clock > 1 > 2 > 3 > Start

After spending 25 minutes on hold while LG try to find out how their own product sets the clock, I now know that the LG MS1949G Microwave open does NOT have the ability to set a clock that shows the time of day.

This is the generic instructions to set the clock. I have visited the sanyo site to aquire a owners manual with no success in locating one. This being said, here are the instructions.

1. Unplug the unit for a minute then plug unit in.
2. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
3. Using the keypad, input the time you wish to set.
4. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
5. Press the stop/clear button, Time should remain.

Depending on the brand, if you push the clock button more than once it changes from am to pm to military time (24 hour) to am, to pm, etc.

Press "Clock", type in the time on the keypad and then press "Start". The clock runs a little slow (at least on mine) and I have to reset it about once a month. It gets about 10 - 15 minutes behind after awhile.
