It seems to be that side door is not properly closed. Please reopen side door close it again. If it still not work, let's clean up dust from sensor and then try again. Also, please check whether hard drives are properly connected or not.
I recommend going into your BIOS and making sure your system is detecting the hard drive(s). If not, recheck your cable connection at the drive and the board. If it is detecting the drive, make sure it is set to be one of the boot drives(I would make it 2nd to the CD-ROM) and reboot your server. If you get the same error, you will need to reinstall the os. The Acer Altos 600 does not offer any driver support for server 2003. I would suspect the error you a re running into will turn out to be a driver issue. If it were me, I would retire that old 600 and build yourself a desktop server if money is a concern. If money is not a concern, buy a nice Dell or HP server and be done with it.
Besides, the Altos is a Pentium 3 with 1.5 gig of RAM MAX. Is it not enough machine to run Server 03 properly.
I have had this problem on other systems and have had to change out the DVD drive to resolve the problem ...
