Fuser oil is a necessity in ricoh machine, it is entirely different consumable than toner (cyan) you dont need to repair the unit only to add oil or fuser oil, pls contact your supplier to buy one and install asap

no need to send to repairshop

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Aficio CL1000N Printer: On my Ricoh aficio CL1000N it says add toner Cyan....

If I remember right, the CL1000 won't print if any of the 4 colors are out. You have to replace the cyan toner in order to print, even in black and white.

If you haven't tried already, you can try taking the cyan toner out and shaking it up (just a little bit) to try to get the printer to find the little bit of toner left in the bottle.

I belive this is the cartridge type oil unit. If you look at the top of the oil cart you will see 3 metal contacts.....clean these and look for where they make contact in the machine clean those and gentley pull down on them so that they make a little better contact this should clear your message provided there is oil in the carttridge

Ricoh fuser oil replace message

That is not a good idea. The oil is kept track of by counting pages, not by a sensor that measures the oil level. The oil runs out and the machine can't tell and now you have ruined the fuser. Which cost a lot more than the oil tank.

Ricoh Aficio CL3500N is now printing all documents with lines/streaks all down the left margin of the page. What do I clean or replace to get rid of these unsightly lines printing on every page?

you can try printing a page in black only, then one page each in the 3 other SINGLE colors: Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. this will eliminate/ confirm one of these causing problem.

the replacement of Transfer Belt Cleaner or Cleaner Assembly is another to try after the above separate-color thing. see if there's a status page of life remaining on replaceable items, including the Transfer belt assy.

i'll assume you didn't scan the job- - this isn't a multifunction scanner/printer type machine?

ok, next in line is to check the Fuser unit, the part on the upper left side/top of printer. if the same streaks appear on the Main fuser rollers, these fuser units cost about 350 bucks. there is also a Fuser Kit, which costs much less, but its job is to add Fuser Oil to the fuser unit and keep paper and ink from sticking.
a guy could suffer sticker shock from the costs of running one of these, considering you could drop a grand buying all 4 drum units, a fuser unit, and a transfer belt assy. . . .

Cl2000n Ricoh can't reset add toner cyan in display

Normal 0 Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
