My logitect wireless keyboard will not work.

My logitect wireless keyboard does not type. I have tried to restart it by pushing the red button underneath the keyboard. I have taken out the thumb drive and restarted the computer. Nothing works. Help!

After changing the batteries and cleaning the corrosion out of the battery case, I pressed the connect button on the Logitech receiver, then the red restart button on the underside of the keyboard and it was fixed!

hello
under your keyboard and mouse you can find a little(maybe red) button that you need to push so your keyboard connects to the computer transceiver. check also if the transceiver have an button if so, then push that first and then the keyboard and mouse.

Microsoft wireless optical desktop 2000 - keyboard and mouse

There are a number of things that may be causing your problem.

The first thing I would check would be the batteries, with these units having a wireless connection if the batteries become weak they will transmit a weaker signal and thus make it harder for the unit to read. Battery life is variable depending on how often you use your keyboard and mouse, and how far away from the transmitter the keyboard and mouse sit.

Also because the units are wireless there may be interference coming from other wireless devices in your household. Some possible guilty devices maybe cordless phones, Wifi adapters, and even some remotes.

Also Have you installed the intellitype and Intellipoint software for your Mouse & Keyboard. If so you can use it to check your battery life/ signal strenth and set you mouse sensitivity and type repeat rate.

On the bottom of your keyboard & Mouse and on the top of the wireless transponder there are reset buttons. Pushing the transponder 1st and then either or both the mouse and keyboards buttons should resysnc them without the need for a reboot.

Hope this helps
Dave

Connecting wireless keyboard for L3600

There is a button on the bluetooth dongle that needs pressing to get the mouse & keyboard operating, I think I got them to work when the little long blue light on the dongle (there is one) it flashes for a brief time when pressed. I think if the mouse or keyboard button is pressed while its flashing it picks them up. Good luck, it was very tedious, I agree.
