hi kiran...first i can advise u is never keep the battery connected when reloading the s/w...always use a power point...here i can advise u is to try switching phone on : remove battery , make sure no external power connected...press power button for 15 sec and keep it pressed then connect the charger and try to boot the phone...if fails please contact customer care
but for that all data in ur handset would be also lost.....
try switching on ur cell without sim card...then key down *2767*3855#
if the code works your handset will be completely formatted and ur user code will be also reset to default....
Go to sonyericsson official website , first choose your location and then choose your model of your handset then download a new update software from the website and install it and run it .Next run the update service and now switch off your phone remove the battery and reinsert the battery (don't switch on your mobile ) and fix your usb cable first into the pc next hold the "c" button on your on handset continously while connecting the other end to the handset and hold it till the update service detects your phone.The updateservice itself detects anyupdates for your handset then click install .First it download the software and whent the download is complete it will automatically install it.

I am sure your handset does not completed is updating during installation from net. Reason network or data cable connection disconnected from computer. Same problem was happened with my Nokia N73. If i am not wrong then when you press your power button, nothing is happened. Its look like a dead body. Don't worry just visit Nokia service center and tell them you want to install the update version & hand over the phone. You can't install the software from home, because your hand set complete dead. Its takes 2-3 hours for installing. But as per there work load may be its take 2 - 3 days for service center people.

Remove the battery immediately. Don't put back the battery again at all in your handset until and unless your handset get fully dried. Also do not try to Switch On your handset, as this will result in permanent damage of your handset's main board.
Take your handset to the Authorised LG Service Centre and they will do the needful. Don't try to open it yourself.
may be there is some problem with battery try putting any of ur frnd s handset compatible battery in to it and just have cross check ... may be the battery is dead due some indeed things like overcharging or bcoz of heating effect.... may be power on button inside is gone... or the charging ic is gone.... if problem persists then contact the technician ... this simple problem he will not charge more than 300 ..
