My laptop's(Comaq 610) speaker could not work. The speaker could not produce any sound. it is possible to change my existing laptop speaker to a good speaker like JBL??

Yes you can always change , but first , lets look at thhe sound card drivers ,
1st- click on the start button and go to the control panel on the left , ckick that icon , than find device manager and open that , you will see all the devices that are install on the menu ,
2nd- scroll doen th sound ., viedo and game controllers , click on that icon to see your sound card driver , RIGHT click on your sounf card and scroll down the prop. and click on that , this will bring up a page that will tell you if your card is working or if there s a conflick ........try this first and tell me the results and i will advise further ........................Roy
