Viewing Screen White Out

My ca,era was working fine, no probmes. I hadn't used it in a while. I went to use it one day and the viewing screen is whited out. The people look like ghosts. I can see the outlines, but that's about it. Is this fiaxble? Camera turns on, will take pictures, flashes ok. Pictures are of uneven quality, sometimes blurred.

Viewing screen is just ghost images at best, can't see anything. Cannot see menu. T

I suspect firmware error as camera itself has not been dropped, wet, abused in any way. Is there any help for this?

also Make sure your White Balance is set to Auto!

Blank white - suggests a dislodged connector
These tend to be at the base of the screen gentle
massaging and pressure may re establish it.

Delete Carlsbad, Ca. From weather station

Hello, if you are asking in regards to Apple's stock weather app, and you are on the latest version of iOS (iOS 7). Then while viewing the Carlsbad, Ca weather page tap on the icon in the bottom right hand corner that has 3 dots and 3 lines. This will take you to the view all cities screen. Once you're viewing all cities at once swipe from right to left to reveal the delete option for Carlsbad.

Please let me know if this doesn't work.

I was using my camera and the viewing screen went blank. The battery is fine, there is power... you can see info on the small view finder but nothing on the screen

hello,
You may have accidentally pressed the DISP button on the back of the camera.
This turn the screen off/on.
Try preesing this button when the camera is on
I believe this button is the up button on the back
Hope this helps

White flickering line across top of screen

Set the screen format using your TV's menu. Do not set the format of the screen using your provider's receiver. I had this prob with a few channels with a dish provider when I set the format with the remote from the dish provider. I picked up the TV's remote, went into the menu, set the format, problem fixed.

White out LCD screen

Try a manual reset. Remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave the camera alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.

Viewing Screen White Out

Does it still taker pictures and do they come up on the view screen?
Loose internal connector is likely cause or a chip failure
For the first try slapping the base of the camera to try to reconnect.
If no luck replace the camera.
