Check that where u fix the cartridge ( the face of cartrdige) some circuit is touching the face of the cartridge. u can try to clean with dry cloth. clean both face of cartridge and the circuit. if that not woking u need to change the entire cartridge carriage block.

Try to change a new cartridge, if problem still persist. That's mean your will need to replace FIXING FILM.
No need to perform cleaning job.
