Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I keep getting this "could not find macromedia

If you were visiting a website, it may require that you have macromedia flash installed on your computer in order to fully engage in the site.

Macomedia flash is like Windows Media Player or Quicktime - it can be downloaded here:  www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html

I keep getting a pop up saying something about macromedia flash player 8..what is this and why does it appear?

Macromedia Flash Player was installed on your computer at some stage. This player is used by a few WEB sites which displays movie like (Flash) files. When you go to a WEB site which displays Flash files, Macromedia can detect an older version of the Flash Player and prompts you to install a latest version of the Flash Player.

This keeps popping up on my computor screen "cannot find Macromedia Flash. I don't know what this is and I do not want it. Thank you . Please take this off if you can. www.signespokane@aol.com

Flash is a program that most sites have and need to run properly when browsing the internet....it is a free download and does not harm the compuer and does not take up that much space all things considered its worth the download.
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
it will not do anything to your computer, it will just allow what ever that popup is concerned about to run.

Macromedia flash error message

Here you can download the 30 days shareware version of complete macromedia flash software. Download and install it. If the problems comes back out after trial expires, it means you are trying to use a feature that requires complete flash software installed.

Hello Chris,

I assume that you are using Windows XP!

First try insalling the Flash from the link below.

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

If it does not resolve the issue, you can follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

1. Please press the windows and the r keys together to get the Run window.
2. In the Open field, type: msconfig
3. Click OK. The System Configuration Utility window appears.
4. Click a startup tab to display a list of software applications and
settings that can be disabled.
5. Remove checkmarks to disable items except the items listed below:
* KBD
* Recguard
* PCHButton
* ehtray
* USB Storage RW
* Remind_XP
NOTE: Ignore the unavailable items
6. Click OK when finished.
7. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
After restarting put a checkmark next to " Do not Show this message again"
and click Ok on the System Configuration utility window displayed to inform
you about the changes made in the settings.

Good Luck!
