You need to use the attachment in the menu, normally a paperclip icon, this will attach the document to the email message.

I need to take a word document from my desktop (cover letter) and paste it into the box provided on a job application???

With document open, click CTRL+A to select all. CTRL+C to cut, and then in the application form CTRL+V to paste into the box. These commands are just about universal for all Windows based applications btw.

How do you copy paste

1. Open the document.
2. Left-Click anywhere in the document (so the cursor is in the document)
3. Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard (selects all the info & turns it blue)
4. Right-Click any blue word (opens a menu)
5. Left-Click "Copy"
6. Right-Click in the field where they want you to place the info. (opens a menu)
7. Left-Click "Paste"

Your resume info should now be in their field.

I would like to know if i could get any job online.searched through the internet but most of them were of no use.please do help

Hello,
If you are looking for a few reputable websites where you can find a career that you are looking for, please check the following website resources by clicking on the blue colored text.

Career builder -This site offers resume building tools, resume critique tool to help you improve your resume to have a better chance of getting an interview, numerous other search options for schools, salary calculators, skills training and much more. This is one of the top level job search and career sites.

Monster -This is another good career search site that also offers good career building tools like Career Builder.

Job Hunt -This site offers many of the same career tools plus videos, help from job search experts, job skills employers look for, and more.

Craigs list -This is a site where you can find job opportunities and this specific link will take you to a list of U.S. cities so you can easily locate your area or area that may be near to you. This site is not specifically geared towards career building like the previous mentioned ones, but you can find a job opportunity using it. This site may not be as reliable and consistent for jobs as the others, but it still may be useful. This site can also be used to find things to buy or even sell, so that is why I added it.

Free Resume Templates -This site offers free resume examples and templates. The better your resume, the better chance you have obtaining a job you are applying for.

About.com -This site is widely used to find tons of different types of information. I have specifically linked it to the free resume examples and tutorials to help you get started quicker and find the information you need much easier.

There are other great resources out there online and with a little research, I am sure you will find what you are looking for. It is important to remember that when posting any personal information online about yourself, there is always a risk of that information being used for identity theft, fraud, etc. Please exercise caution when posting personal information online and research every site to ensure they are a legitimate resource to use. I always like to warn people about security so that they will be informed and be cautious.

When searching the job market for any job, it is important to prepare your resume properly and make copies and take them to all the businesses you would like to gain employment because the more exposure your skills get through your resume, you increase your chance of gaining employment. Doing your resume online will give you a lot of exposure and many employers are now using the internet to find members for their work force because it is easier and quicker for them.

I hope that the information that I provided helps you reach all of your career goals so you find the perfect job you are looking for. I wish you all the best and please let us know if you need further assistance.

If you would not mind, please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

I want to save my resume picture as my image file..but i was not able to find ways to cut it from the document and save it in My pictures folder..

Open your resume file in whatever program you used to create it. Press Print Screen on the keyboard (usually next to F12) to take a snapshot of the whole file and save it as a .bmp or .jpg file.
Open Windows Paint. Load the picture in to it using the File menu.
Then select the dotted line box in the drawing tools. Move the mouse to top left of where you want to start cutting and press and hold the left mouse button.
Now with the button still pressed move the mouse accross and down to where you want the cutting to stop and release the button. It will put a box around the bit that you want to keep. Click on Cut (scissors) and go to the File menu and click New and then click Dont save. Then click Paste and it will paste your cut image in to the new empty file. save the new file with a different name to the original so you don't overwrite it.

Cut and paste

Hi there!

What version of Internet Explorer is currently installed on your machine?

I recommend you update Windows as a preliminary step. Updates for Internet Explorer are usually included and may solve your problem:

Click Start>All Programs>Windows Update

Once your machine has restarted after the updates, try copying and pasting from your browser into Word.

If it still doesn't work, try using the "Paste Special" command in Word. You can find that option underneath "Edit" in the top menu bar. If it doesn't appear, you may need to expand the menu to its full size by using the double-arrows at the bottom of the Edit menu.

You will be prompted with the Paste Special dialogue box. Select "Unformatted Text" and click OK.

If that still doesn't solve the problem, try updating Word. Updates for Word are also usually included in Windows Updates but go ahead and try this just in case.

In Word, click Help in the top menu bar and select Check for Updates.

Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions, please feel free to reply.

Sound Drive

Sometimes you can just go to add new hardware
click on the device or go to the bottom and add new device when you find your device allow the wizard to search over the internet for the driver.
If this does'nt work you can go on the internet and type in your device followed by free driver downloads.

I want to know if it is possible topause a slide show and save an image toa folder

Thanks for choosing fixya.com

Most slide shows will have buttons on the bottom to pause and resume. Others you can click them to pause. If none of those are available you won't be able to pause the slide show.

You can however get the images you want to save by using either the "Print Screen" button or a program like "camstudio" to record the screen into images.

I'll cover the "Print screen" button here since its much easier.

First off locate the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard, this is usually above the arrow keys and may only say "PRT SCR"

Now press print screen, open up an application like mspaint, photoshop, or gimp (Any imaging program will do).
Go to "Edit >> Paste" or press CTRL+V to paste the screen image.

You can then use the imaging applications crop or cut features to cut out the image you want to keep.

Hope this helps you out.
