Gateway webcam

Dear Tori,
Greetings from New Zealand! You have not supplied much info - so we'll start from the beginning...SAFELY Remove web-cam connection - (I presume it is a USB connection?) - by R-clicking on the little icon - usally green - in the systray by the clock, & following instructions. Have you installed the web-cam "driver" software from the cd that came with the web-cam? If not then do so. Plug in web-cam USB & wait until pop-ups notify you that web-cam device is detected & ready to use. L-Click on "START" > All Programs > Web-cam program.
If this option does not work/is not available, then OPEN "My Computer" & click on web-cam icon. This should start web-cam software & you SHOULD see your smiling face on screen!
If Nothing works - then you will have to make a note of the model & contact Gateway for support.
I hope that this helps! GBU! - Bruce.

Under programs, there is a dell web cam program, there is also a dell web cam help file,if you install skype (a free web cam communication program) it will automatically turn on and off the web cam as the program starts and exits.there are also other dell web cam programs that will let you adjust ,and take snap shots called web cam console and dell webcam manager

How do i turn on built in wed cam

the web cam have to be installed(the driver to operate it ) and after that you will be able to use it ...in case it is already installed to capture use the AMcap program in the start menu ...or the picture capture function in the my computer folder..
for video calls you have to use the camera in an instant messenger program like yahoo messenger or msn or skype..
the driver for it it may be found on the support site of the manufacturer ...just type the manufacturer name and the word support beside it ..and go on site ...choose downloads...than the model and number of the notebook and the operation system that you have in use...and download the driver if it is missing ...
Good luck..!

Crystal eye web cam not found on aspire 5920

Hi,

Acer aspire has inbuilt web camera and therefore will work only if the correct drivers are installed. Please uninstall the drivers first from control/panel/add remove programs. Next reboot the system and then go ahead with the installation.

Youcam 1.0

Here you go; http://download.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/trial/CyberLink.1023_generic_YUC071008-01.exe Bear in mind, the download is 46MB I'm rather curious however, as the only Youcam I could find (Cyberlink), is a program, rather than an actual webcam. Are you sure the webcams model is a Youcam? or did you infact mean the program? If you did mean the webcam, you can find the drivers for your laptops webcam on the HP website; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/pfinder?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&query=presario%20700&dest_page=softwareCategory&tool=softwareCategory
