Question about GE Profile DPSR473EW Dryer
Dryer is 10 years old and works great but has developed awful squeak. What should we replace?
If the squeaking has been going on for only a short time, you may be able to get by with only replacing the rear drum bearing, but if it has been going on for some time you should replace the drum bearing kit part #
WE25M40. Also be sure to check that the front drum slides are ok, especially the one on the left side of the front drum support, as this one wears out faster. Drum slides #

I just did my bearing and it worked for the same issue. I'd only add that it takes 3 hands to put the new one in unless you want to get creative.
