gejgp389bevbb ge gas cooktop the right rear knob is stuck and will not turn or ignite
Problem for GE 30 in. Profile JGP989 Gas Cooktop
GE Gas Ceramic Cooktop w/downdraft exhaust #JGP989BK
New installation. Gas burners sound like a jet engine when ignighted. Serviced by GE techs 3 times. This is a natural gas installation and the correct orifices are on the unit.
GE Engineering now says that it was designed that way and the burners should quite down when a pan is on the burner and after 3-5 minutes of use (each time it's used).
Do you this this is defective?...or did they put out a half-baked product.
