The motor is at the back of the washig machine, down at the corner.

You will need to unscrew the back panel, and undo the belt routing to access to the motor.

    sorry about that

    see if this works

this is one of the tips and tricks posted by one of our experts in fixya

    1. Unplug washing machine.

    2. Remove console. This can be accomplished in one of two ways depending on which type of console you have.

    a.
If the console has removable end caps, the caps lift off by prying on
the top from the back of the washer. The cap will pull off towards you
as you are facing the unit from the front of the washer. There will be
a screw under each end cap that you will need to remove.

    b. If
the console does not have removable end caps, you will need to slide a
putty knife under the front corner of each side and push in while
lifting up. There is a retaining clip under each side that has to be
    released.

    3. Once the console has been released it will lift up
and fold back over the back of the washer in its resting position. Use
care not to stress the small plastic hinges that hold it on. They can
    break easily.

    4. Under the console will be two large brass
colored clips. Take a large flat blade screwdriver and place it in the
groove of the clip on the washer top. With the screwdriver firmly in
the groove, push away from you towards the back of the washer. This
    will release the clips.

    5. Disconnect the lid switch connector plug. This is the white colored plug on the washer top under the console.

    6.
Remove the washer casing. Open the lid of the washer. Using one hand,
grip under the front rim of the washer opening. Do not grab the wash
tub, just the casing. Tilt the washer case from the back first towards
you, slide forward slightly, and then lift up. The entire case comes
off exposing the wash tub and components.

Zanussi 1200 essential washing machine, cleaned out filter now will not fill with water

Go back into the machine and check for a disconnected wire cause by cleaning out the filter. Oh and did you remember to turn the water faucet back to the on position? It helps to plug the machine in to the A/C outlet, too. Keep an eye attuned to a safety switch on the access panel as well. It may have an alignment or broken plastic fastening/ mounting design.

One is for the main wash another for prewash and the third one for

Look in the manual.

Have a Zanussi electrolux essential 1200 washing machine - when it reaches the fast spin cycle just as you expect it to start going very quickly it cuts out ? Many thanks

Sounds like the Tachometer on the motor is faulty, this is the built in revolution counter that controls the speed of the motor, unfortunately it means the motor needs replaced and they can be expensive, about half the price of the machine. But if you want to change it then it is quite simple, just 2 or 4 screws hold it in place and the plug an belt just pull off. Hope this helps.

I have a Zanussi FLS1183W aquacycle 1050 washing machine. It has stopped spinning and I suspect the carbon brushes. How do I access the motor to examine/replace the brushes?

There is no solid base to this washing machine so if you simply lie the machine on its side you can access the motor from underneath.

Zanussi Turbodry 1200 spin problem

if this washer is used alot then it will more then likely be the carbon brushes which u will need to take the lid off undue 4screws out where it joins front to the back screws at the back to the bottom and 1screw either side of the bottom where the panels join together behind a little cap which will have an hole in the middle of it to get it out u will then be able to get to the motor to replace the carbon brushes
