Hi, I am using the AVR1612 with an MP3 player. The center speaker and the suround speakers do not work. When I test the speakers they are all working fine. The cables are plugged correctly

Your mp3 player only supports 2-channel stereo. To get sound from more speakers, you need to select a sound program, try selecting one of the sound field options on the bottom right of your remote (music cinema, direct, ... ).

I have a Kenwood KR-V6080 amp and I have tried playing a Sony MP3 player through the phono and cd sockets on the amp but the sound is not good. I have also tried to change the settings on the MP3 player...

"Not good". What does that mean?

It SHOULD work. Look at the MP3 player's volume controls.

Any audio device that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input (except "PHONO"). Get a cable like the one described here: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=665&seq=1&format=2
and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono".

My ml640s mp3 player is frozen and i dont know how to reset it, can you help me?

Plugging the mp3 player into your computer and right clicking the mp3 player, go to properties and format or reformat the mp3 player. This is kind of you only hope solution. If this doesn't work, you may need a new one

I want to know if and how I can delete songs from my MP3 player.

Hello,
Yes you can delete songs from your MP3 player -
  1. Plug the MP3 player into a USB port on your PC or laptop. Some MP3 plug right into the port and others require the supplied USB cord.
  2. Open the MP3 player up on your computer so you can see the songs.
  3. Right click on the songs you wish to delete
  4. Left click on "delete"
  5. When it cues you with "are you sure you want to delete xxx" you will left click on yes.
  6. You song is now permanently deleted.
Regards, Tony

My wife has a go gear vibe mp3 player. From the front of the quick start guide it must be one of the following: sa1vbe02,sa1vbe04,sa1vbe08,or sa1vbe16 She also has an itunes account. I wanted to also...

Everything you download from the iTunes store is in MPEG4/AAC format. Her mp3 player only works with mp3. You can still download them but then you'll have to convert them to mp3.
Go to iTunes Preferences...Import settings...select MP3 and the quality you want...then right click on the songs you want to convert and in the box you'll see...Create MP3 version.

My creative zen mirco has a firmware problem and keeps going to recovery mode ??

Try the recovery tool from here (this is relevant to your recovery mode question also), but not all mp3 players will work with Windows Media Player 11 - causes a DB corruption - roll back to Windows Media Player 10 if this is the case:

Music downloading problems

What kind of computer and what O/S ( windows, linux, 98, XP, ?) are you using? What make and model of MP3 player. To connect your MP3 player to your computer you need the right cable and the right drivers for the computer. Drivers are the translator program that lets your computer talk to the MP3 player. If they cant understand each other, no files will flow. Make sure you have the drivers for the MP3 player installed on your system and you have the right operating system installed in your computer. Good luck....Rob
