I am trying to log into my yahoo!messenger.. Yesterday my pcillin came up and said there was some type of problem withit.. I think perhaps my account has been hacked. I changed my password on my yahoo!mail account, does that automatically change my messenger password? It still won't work, the little circle smiley guy will blink, and lastnight went as far as smiling at me and then the connectin wouldn't go thru? How do I log into it now?? There is important info (at least to me)on that account, and I really need to get in there! Thanks in advance for your help!-

Probably you opened your e-mail in the browser.
-Try closing your browser 1st then try it again.
-Maybe your internet is unstable or slow.

make sure you have an internet connection. try opening a website.
if you cannot log in to yahoo messenger what error are you getting?
if password error check your password and user name
in yahoo messenger you don't have to type in the @yahoo.com in the username and the password try to type it in the notepad to check if you typed the correct password.
copy that password then paste it in the password box.
check for your antivirus and firewall setting maybe it is stopping your yahoo messenger from connecting the internet.
also try uninstalling and reinstalling your yahoo messenger. try downloading the latest version
if still don't get any luck logging in.
try to log in to the web base yahoo messenger

Yeah ym sometimes is having problems. Just try to uninstall and install it again.

i think u have some problem may be with ur registry , clean up ur registry files with reginout it will solve the issues

can you describe your problem with us what type of problem you facing with yahoo messenger
if your yahoo messenger cant log you in try this
download a latest copy of yahoo messenger because sometime when your yahoo messenger become old it cant log you in

try signing in on the yahoo log in page after successfully signing in to your account try messenger again

Please try to uninstall yahoo messenger and then try to reinstall to check if the issue persists. Let yahoo choose your internet configuration itself, even if it does nt work then try go to connection prefernces in messenger.

perhaps a glitch of your messenger if you are activating the archive. try to check on (C:) > Program Files > Yahoo Messenger > Archive (folder), if there is a folder about archive, click to open and it will display the convo you had.

if you go to options the privacy, drag and drop all your contacts back onto allow i think...its something like that any way.. try it! hope it works! if these doesn't work, re add them in your messenger list..

When I try to download Yahoo Messenger, It looks like it has fully installed but it says There was a problem installing. I have tried this several times but,I can't get it to work. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Go to Yahoo.com and try logging on,If that work,just reinstall the messenger.If not,you will need to do a password reset through yahoo
