My kids have played with my phone and has locked it. It's not a PUK problem cos my SIM is still active. Is there just a reset button? Model of phone is Samsung GT-1081T

PUK only locks sim card, just get another active sim in the phone and if needed restart or restore with sim in it.

try to insert or type the default pin code of your cellphone which is commonly 123456. And if did not work reformat your phone. That the only solution to erase the pin code which is saved in your phone.

PUK is not a code that is on the phone it's a code on your SIM. PUK stands for personal Unlock key. you will have to conact you network operator for this code. there is no other way to get the code.

you need to put back the original sim card in the phone and do a master reset.....in the phone settings.....

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.
if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.
