I bought an intel 815 board with compaq logo,i have 1GH intel proceesor,512Ram and 80GB hard disk;When I turn on the system,it give the following error with F1 to boot,but it boot successfully
1801 microcode patch error,invalid or missing microcode, contact your ROM BIOS manufacturer for new BIOS for new PROCESSOR STEPPING.
my prob is..i have D5D motherboard where the processor is 1.5Ghz..now, im installing a new 2.4Ghz processor..once i switch no the pc. it says, 1801 microcode patch error..Missing or invalid processor microcode path..contact compaq support to get a new ROM BIOS..can anybody help me to solve this prob?
