DELL 962 PRINTER. WHILE PRINTING PAPER GOT JAM.

Here are some steps that can resolve your issue about paper jam.

Try to lift the paper exit tray, then remove the papers, then lower the paper tray and press the select button in the printer. If still the same, Raise the printer unit and check if there's a paper jam then try to remove it, close the printer unit and push the select button. If still the same try to open the access door in the back of the printer, remove the paper jammed, close it then push select button.

dont put so much paper in it that may help.

Smaller torn bits of paper may still be in the printer. Unplug the power, open the back access panel. Look for torn or jammed paper. Also check the ADF (auto document feeder) for a jam.

When you try it again, Dell recommends that you fan your paper. Fanning the paper helps break apart the bonds left by improperly cut paper which leaves the edges of the sheets interlocked.

Its impossible. All printers are designed to have a back door for Paper Jam purposes. Kindly double check.

hmmm..I think there is a back door on that printer..try to open it on the back of the printer...
it will allow you to grab the jammed paper..^^

Try to enter the bios setup. Save the bios setting and exit. Lets see if it resolves your problem

just check to see if there is any obstructions were the paper is going through, unplug printer cables, press power button for 20 seconds without any cables connected, it will refresh printer memory, connect cables back,try photocopy, if nogo, printer fualty
