Problem for Flat Panel Televisions

Generic problem for all Flat Panel Televisions

we can turn on the tv and it works fine sometimes, not very often tho, the problems are
sometimes the romote does not work
sometimes if we try to change the channel using the remote or the tv buttons the tv will keep changing back to Channel ext 1 everytime.
